The Secret Giver A St. Nicholas song from Saintlings Verse 1 (0:10) Shhh! Tip-toe, in the night, Someone's giving by candlelight! Gold for the shoes, bread for the door, Who could ever love us more? Chorus (0:28) Nick-o-las! Nick-o-las! The secret giver came! He never wanted thank-yous, he never left his name! Nick-o-las! Nick-o-las! Giving is the game, When you give like Nicholas, your heart lights up the same! Verse 2 (0:49) Three poor sisters, sad and blue, no gold to wed someday, But through the window in the night, three bags of gold to stay! Who did it? No one ever saw! The town began to grin: "When something kind and secret happens... Nicholas has been!" Verse 3 (1:12) He gave away his silver, he gave away his bread, He said "God gave me everything, I'll give it all!" he said. And now around the whole wide world, when giving's done just right, They say it's got a little bit of Nicholas inside! Bridge, quiet (1:34) Shhh... can you keep a secret? Give... and never tell... Sing-along (1:50) La la la... Final Chorus, big and joyful (1:59) Nick-o-las! Nick-o-las! The secret giver came! He never wanted thank-yous, he never left his name! Nick-o-las! Nick-o-las! Giving is the game, When you give like Nicholas, your heart lights up the same! Let your light shine!
